    • The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department is looking for adults who want to help keep 4S Ranch safe and be part of the Senior Volunteer Patrol.

      The Sheriff’s 4S Ranch Station is seeking prospective senior volunteers to work a minimum of up to five hours a week patrolling 4S Ranch.

      Duties include traffic control, patrolling neighborhoods in 4S Ranch, checking on homes of residents on vacation, and checking on the welfare of individuals as part of the Sheriffs “You Are Not Alone” program.

      Volunteers must be at least 50 years old, be a U.S. citizen or legal resident who has applied for citizenship, have a valid California driver’s license and automobile insurance, be of good moral
      character with no felony convictions, and attend a two-week Senior Volunteer Patrol Academy.
